Its the summer of blood, long hot days
spent hiding from the sun
hunger of the wait, anticipating dusk
when dressed in black to the streets I take
insatiable need , and a cool white moon
flying over the Orion to feast
just two or three, deep drinks take me,
beyond dope or ecstasy
Looks like I've come full circle, I'm not living but un-dead
at dawn I sleep and through the night I creep
their heartbeats pounding in my head
well the lightings just right , and the soundtracks so nice
fine amongst the humans tonight
there's a fleeting heat, in a heart usually cold
gone with dawns grey streaks
when the darkness fades, and "In Dreams" drifts away
sobering up for the dreaded day
